Bio

Terry teaches Old Testament and Biblical Hebrew. His goal is to help students meditate on and delight in scripture. Terry's research interests include the Book of Isaiah, compositional poetics, innerbiblical allusion, textual criticism, and the presentation of foreign nations in prophetic literature. Terry and his wife, Sara, have two children and are delighted to call New Orleans home. Outside of teaching and biblical scholarship, Terry enjoys reading fiction and poetry, being in the woods, and cheering for the Houston Astros.
