Bio

Sandy Vandercook has focused much of her research on the relationship between teacher beliefs about written feedback and their actual written feedback practices. More recently, she has focused her research on the relationship between literature and religion, particularly as relates to the God-given human imagination. She presents regularly at composition conferences and accreditation conferences.

She has been teaching in some capacity for more than thirty-five years, two of those years as a journeyman missionary to Brazil with the Foreign Mission Board (now IMB). She is married to Philip, and they have two daughters.
