Giving Opportunities

Purpose

The Women’s Auxiliary of the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary began in 1963, with the purpose of creating friendships, enlisting interest of local women in the Seminary, and to provide funds for scholarships to be awarded to wives of full-time Seminary students.  The Women’s Auxiliary Scholarship Fund provides not only tuition assistance, but help with registration fees and textbooks.

Recipients

The Women’s Auxiliary of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary awards scholarships to wives of students who make the decision to continue their education while their husbands are enrolled in the Seminary. For many women, a theological education is available to them without any additional financial burden on their family. Receiving additional training and education helps the wives become better equipped for serving alongside their spouse in ministry.
